I am COO of Fundamentia, a Spanish AI deep-tech. I run operations, product and the commercial function, with P&L responsibility and a team of around fifteen.
My signature is pragmatism: not every problem needs an LLM. Some need deterministic systems; most enterprise environments need both — and that balance is usually where an AI project succeeds or fails.
I have brought that discipline to demanding environments —most of Spain's largest banks run document operations on SimplÿData, the platform my team built, under GDPR and the EU AI Act— and the same approach works for any company that wants to turn AI into real efficiency.
I have worked in artificial intelligence since 1988. The lexicon has changed several times. The mathematics has not.
