Privacy & cookies

Last updated: 8 July 2026

This policy explains how the personal data of visitors to moralesarcia.com (the "site") is processed, and which cookies and similar technologies are used, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Spanish data-protection and e-privacy law.

1. Data controller

Francisco Morales Arcia, owner of moralesarcia.com (Alicante, Spain). You can get in touch via the contact form or at privacidad@moralesarcia.com.

2. Data processed and purpose

Contact form

If you write through the form, the data you provide —name, email address, company (optional) and the content of your message— is processed for the sole purpose of handling and replying to your enquiry. Submissions are handled by the provider Formspree, acting as a data processor.

Web analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page usage in aggregate (visits, page views, approximate origin, device type). This measurement is only activated if you give your consent in the cookie notice. Google acts as a data processor and the IP address is processed in anonymised form. The site also uses Microsoft Clarity to understand browsing behaviour through heatmaps and anonymised session recordings (with automatic masking of text and form fields; cookies such as _clck and _clsk); it is likewise activated only with your consent, and Microsoft acts as a data processor.

3. Legal basis

4. Cookies and local storage

The site sets no analytics cookies until you accept them. If you accept, Google Analytics uses cookies (for example _ga and _ga_<id>) to distinguish visitors. The site also uses strictly functional browser local storage to remember two preferences: your cookie choice (consent-analytics) and your language. These do not require consent as they are necessary for the site to work.

5. Managing consent

You can accept or decline analytics cookies in the notice shown on your first visit. To change your choice at any time, use the Cookie settings link in the footer.

6. Data retention

Form messages are kept for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and manage any resulting relationship. Analytics data is retained according to the period configured in Google Analytics. After those periods, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Recipients and international transfers

Data may be processed by the providers mentioned (Formspree and Google) as processors. Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case, transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses and/or applicable adequacy frameworks).

8. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and withdraw any consent given, by writing through the contact form or to privacidad@moralesarcia.com.

9. Complaints

If you believe the processing does not comply with the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect legal or technical changes. The date of the last update appears at the top.
